Level Transmitters
E4 Modulevel® Liquid Level Displacer Transmitter

The E4 Modulevel® is a 4-20 mA float level transmitter designed for continuous level measurement of liquids and slurries in industrial processes. Thanks to LVDT technology, the device provides stable and accurate measurements even in the presence of turbulence, foam and boiling. It also supports interface measurement and density control.
About product
The E4 Modulevel® is a two-wire, loop-powered measuring device that uses the simple buoyancy principle to detect changes in liquid level and convert them into a stable output signal. The mechanical connection between the level sensing element and the output electronics ensures a simple and robust design. The vertical linear design of the transducer reduces its weight and simplifies installation. The device is available in various configurations and pressure versions for a wide range of applications.
Principle of operation
The buoyancy force changes caused by fluctuations in the liquid level act on a float suspended by a spring, causing the core in the linear differential transformer (LVDT) to move vertically.
As the core changes position in accordance with the liquid level, voltages are induced in the secondary windings of the LVDT. The resulting signals are processed by electronic circuitry and used to control the current in the 4-20 mA loop. The protective tube acts as a static isolation barrier between the LVDT and the process medium.

Eclipse Aurora is a combined device that combines waveguide radar level measurement technology and a magnetic level indicator in one chamber. Due to the independent operation of the two systems, reliable measurement redundancy and continuous level control are ensured even in difficult operating conditions. The device works effectively at high temperatures, pressures, as well as in environments with variable product characteristics.
