The propane-butane odorizing plant

DESIGN FEATURES:

 

The odorizing plant consists of the odorizing unit located in the explosion-hazard area near the liquefied gas discharge to the truck tanker, odorizing plant control cabinet located indoors in the explosion-hazard area and the process connection point. The odorizing plant has a tank with capacity of 250 liters where the odorant is stored. The dosing pump operates non-stop while the liquefied gas is discharged. The external flow meter informs the plant about the odorized gas flow.

 

Gas odorization is by injection.

 

 The odorizing plant has two modes of operation:

The odorizing plant has the excessive pressure source (nitrogen), which can be used in charging mode and to avoid odorant boiling.

   

The plant is intended for odorization of the liquefied gas flow within the range of 15-30 m³/h.
