PECULIARITIES
• Application of the combined two-phase vertical gas-liquid separator and the horizontal liquid-liquid separator. The obtained three-phase separator combines efficiency of the vertical gas-liquid and horizontal liquid separation.
• The skid-mounted design, i.e. most of work was made not on Customer’s site, but at the place of production, resulting in almost 50% decrease of the fiscal custody transfer meter implementation cost compared with the analogues and ultimate decrease of the prime cost of Customer’s ready products.
Skid-mounted separation-measuring complex consists of 3 components:
1. The separation unit is a stand-alone mobile unit intended for extraction from the natural gas arriving from the well of the condensed moisture, its accumulation for separation into the hydrocarbon condensate and water and further automatic drain of the condensate and water to the existing collectors with fiscal metering of their quantity.
Separation unit characteristics:
1. Constructively it is calculated by technological parameters according to Customer’s initial data by:
• operating pressure, kg/cm2;
• gas temperature, kg/cm2;
• gas flow, thousd. nm3/24 h;
• condensate in gas, cm3/m3;
• water in gas, cm3/m3;
• qualitative composition of gas and condensate
2. It is designed for work in the climatic zone, parameters of which are defined in SNiP 2.01.01-82 “Construction climatology and geophysics”.
3. It is equipped with automation, control and warning equipment according to the existing rules and regulations.
4. It corresponds to NPAOP 11.1-1.01-08 “Safety rules in oil-and-gas industry of Ukraine”, NPAOP 0.00-1.07-94 (DNAOP 0.00-1.07-94) “Procedure for design and safety operation of the pressure vessels” and other valid regulatory documents.
5. It is supplied with the as-built documents, including the certificates of the vessel, instrumentation, shut-off and control valves and operation manuals.
6. Magnetrol level switches, Siemens mass flow meters, maximum pressure alarm - electric-contact manometer, valves by domestic companies or imported are used in the separation unit.
7. The equipment and instrumentation devices have the type-approval certificates of measuring instruments issued by the State committee of standardization, metrology and certification of Ukraine and Ex-Proof Certificate of electrical equipment by the State testing certification center of Ex-Proof and mine electrical equipment.
2. The controller unit is a cabinet installed in the control room intended for:
1. Separation unit automatics is controlled by Siemens control equipment or control equipment by other manufacturers.
2. Data coupling with gas measuring unit.
3. Continuous collection and preparation of data about the amount of water and condensate measured by the separation unit basing on “FlowtechTM” computing system.
4. Data transfer by cellular data channels to the operation control service of the company with the help of GSM modems.
5. Warning when technological process parameters of the separation unit and gas measuring unit are above the allowable limits (alarm signaling).
3. Gas measurement unit is intended for:
1. Metering of the natural gas arriving from the wells and free from condensed moisture, according to the requirements of GOST 8.586.5:2009 “Metrology. Measurements of liquids and gases flow rate and quantity by means of orifice instruments. Part 5. Measurement procedure” within the limits of parameters according to the Customer’s initial data by:
- operating pressure, kg/cm2;
- gas measuring range, nm3/24 h
2. Continuous collection and processing of data about gas amount measured by the unit.
