By information of “NefteRynok”:

The booster compression station was launched in operation on 27 June 2014 in Kulikovo village of Poltava region at Vostochnaya-Poltava gas condensate field.

“Launching in operation of the booster compression station at Vostochnaya-Poltava gas condensate field allows gaining the additional gas production at 23 wells amounting 18 mln m3 per year. This is very important in the present situation, when Ukraine should decrease its dependence on import of the natural gas”, - said the Chairman of “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” PJSC, Sergey Kostyuk.

He also added that the booster compression station can technologically support operation of the turboexpander refrigeration cycles and extract the additional gas condensate from the produced gas; furthermore the station will provide at “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” PJSC extraction and compression of natural gas in the volume of 130 mln m3 per year.

The auxiliary equipment was designed, constructed, installed and supplied by the domestic companies.

The booster compression station introduction into operation is the third joint project of “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” PJSC and "Karpatygaz" LLC. The project costs 37.7 mio UAH. Yulyevka and Raspashnovskiy booster compression stations were introduced into operation earlier.

Nowadays construction of ten booster compression stations is made by the joint venture program. The level of readiness of five stations is 50% - 98%. Totally by the end of 2014 “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” PJSC at the joint venture level plans to launch in operation new five booster compression stations. Next year it is planned to start construction of new eight and to start upgrading six existing booster compression stations. This work shall allow “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” PJSC stabilizing the gas production level of 15.5 - 16 bln m3 per year.
