Fuel and start gas treatment plant

This technology was developed by us for fuel and start natural gas treatment for gas turbine and gas piston drives of compressors and electric generators with the following fiscal metering of the consumed natural gas.
 
The plant incorporates:
  • two feeding lines from suction and discharge of the compressor;
  • solids, condensed moisture and oil filters with the function of signaling about the filter elements pollution;
  • gas heater with the automatic maintaining of the treated gas temperature;
  • duplicated pressure reduction spool with the automated emergency switching;
  • fuel and start gas fiscal meter.
 
The plant has two gas compression lines (operating and standby), two lines of fuel gas metering (operating and standby), one line of start gas metering, nitrogen supply line, liquid discharge line. Axial type pressure regulators and filters are installed on the compression lines. The ball valves with pneumatic actuators installed on the gas reduction lines allow locally or remotely autoswitch the inlet gas lines and in case of emergency to cutoff the gas supply to the consumer. Optionally it is possible to add functions of the automatic liquid discharge from filters, which will happen with the help of ball valves with pneumatic actuators by signal from level annunciators installed on filters. Registration of the instruments data (pressure, temperature, flow converters) and management of the ball valves pneumatic actuators is made with the help of the existing computerized process control system of the booster compression station (it is possible to create an independent plant control system). The measuring system provides collection, processing and transmission of data about the gas flow from three meters by GSM-modem as well as to the existing computerized process control system of the booster compression station. The computer, modem and accompanying equipment are located in a separate cabinet supplied together with the plant and installed outside the explosion hazard zone.
The plant incorporates the following equipment: ball valves with the hand drive, ball valves with pneumatic actuators and solenoids, filters, axial pressure regulators, safety valves, instrument piping manufactured according to GOST 8.586.1-2:2009, measurement system, pipelines electric heating, pressure converters (SIEMENS, Germany), level converters (Magnetrol, Belgium) and temperature converters (WIKA, Germany). Inlet and outlet pipeline are equipped with mating flanges for external pipeline connection.
 
The explosion proof instrumentation and control with the explosion protection certificates valid in the territory of Ukraine is used in the plant. Electric wiring and instrumentation and control wiring is made in the explosion proof boxes taking into account their functional purpose.
